We award a brand new, one-of-a-kind PLAYER OF THE MATCH® Digital Collectable to the best player of every Premier League and WSL match. And what’s cooler than that? They’re commissioned artworks with a custom font by iconic graffiti and tattoo artist Mister Cartoon. You can own and trade them on our official auction marketplace – they have real-world value!

Only 2 Official PLAYER OF THE MATCH® Digital Collectable awards are created for each match. One for the player and one for a fan to own, with all profits going to player charities and Common Goal..

The chosen player for the award is based on the consensus choice across the media, tv, data and fan votes.

There are only 2 digital collectable awards created for each match and #0 is awarded to the player, while #1 is awarded to a fan like you!

We donate all PLAYER OF THE MATCH® NFT Football Awards profits to player charities and for diversity, equity and inclusion impact project and campaigns. Common Goal align our donations with selected community based organisations around the world that generate the greatest impact using football as a tool to accelerate social change.

All our official Digital Collectable awards have rarity properties and performance points based on each match, creating our Match Week collectable categories.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Mister Cartoon was immersed in art from an early age. He began his career as a graffiti artist before branching into murals, album covers, and logos, and is most famously known for his tattoos. His richly detailed, hand-rendered designs pull much of their inspiration from the Los Angeles of Cartoon’s youth.

Stars such as Eminem, Travis Barker, Slash, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, along with athletes like Kobe Bryant, Lewis Hamilton and Freddie Ljungberg wear Cartoon’s art on their skin.

Mister Cartoon has inked a custom, unique hand-drawn lettering and numerical typeset for all our official awards.

“If you focus on hard work and dedication you will be rewarded in more ways than you will know, these are the qualities that drew me to this project, hard work and dedication. Tattoos and soccer go hand and hand now a days with the players using tattoos as jewellery it becomes a status symbol, and the players' dedication to their craft is tattooed into their skin. The number of a player is his legacy, and I was grateful to have hand-drawn these numbers to create the official digital awards“.

We are piloting from next season across selected collections, for our Digital Collectables owners to vote and determine the official PLAYER OF THE MATCH® Award winners.Our award owners will have access to our marketplace and community to join other fans, and the players throughout the season, plus exclusive membership airdrops.We will be developing and integrating extended digital rights and licenses, as our collections continue to drop for future metaverse products and services.
